Eagles Nest Development is
280 soft rolling acres of previously tilled farmland, converted
into residential lots that will have custom homes and an 18 hole
par three golf course. It will contain an Equestrian Center,
Clubhouse for the Golf Course, Storage Facilities for your
boats, recreational vehicles, snowmobiles, etc. The property
will remain as natural as possible.
.
| The
homesites rest at 7,000 feet above sea level. |
| Absolutely
clear blue skies are the order of the day and stars from
horizon to horizon fill the night. Clean crisp skies
filled with "falling stars" seldom seen within
city lights. |
Two
small lakes will grace the Development, attracting
deer, elk and geese to the area. These lakes will also enhance
the golfing experience on WedMont Golf Course.
Anasazi
ruins cover the property and are protected from
destruction by covenants running with the land and local and
state regulations. These ruins are being explored by the world
renown Crow Canyon Archeological Society. |

The land is rich red
soil with juniper and pinon trees and
other natural growth. Local shrubbery and trees are being
strategically planted over the property.
Weather
conditions are clearly visible from your doorsteps or the
comfort of your living room. You can watch the rain,
snow, and cloud formations come over the mountain ranges and
pass through the valley. Electrical storms provide "Fourth
of July" splendor at all times of the year. You will often
see the weather, but not experience it, as it simply passes
through the valley.
Nature
is everywhere. The peace and tranquility of deer
gracing the land, undisturbed in their feeding in the mornings
and evenings brings delight to both young and old.
| Amazing
sunsets and sunrises warm the land each day. |
| We
experience four real seasons. Breezes are the norm. Our
Fall season is famous for its color and beauty. Visitors
from all over the world come to experience the Fall
Colorfest. |
