Golf Course Construction
Cortez, Colorado, - January 30, 2001--Eagles Nest
Partnership, LLP is proud to announce the construction of
WedMont Golf Links at Eagles Nest Development.. Mass grading
began in the summer of 2000 and continues into the winter
months.
Under construction is WedMont Golf Links, an eighteen hole
(18) par three links course, winding within Eagles Nest
Development. It will be a very challenging test of golf for
invited residents of Eagles Nest and their guests. Currently,
there are no plans to open the course to the public
Residential lots surround the environmental golf course.
Every attempt is being made to eliminate the use of any toxic
chemicals in the treatment and growth of the course. The front
nine has already been roughed in. Seeding and sodding is planned
for the Spring of 2001.
The natural topography and landscape are being incorporated
into the design of the golf course. This is also true as to the
residential lots. Indigenous planting will be the keynote of the
development.
Eagles Nest Development consists of forty-eight residential
parcels, ranging in size from 3 to 7 acres, with many verified
Indian ruins sites, located at Goodman Point, just miles outside
the city of Cortez, Colorado. The development is on County Road
18, a few miles from Highway 666. Lots afford 360 degree
unfettered spectacular mountain views during the daytime and
breathtaking city lights in the evening. The entire development
rests above 7,000 feet overlooking the Cortez, Dolores, Mancos
valley. Each lot includes architectural and interior design
services, as well as being computer DSL ready.
